Ramblings from a Fledgling Novelist
about Reading, Writing and Life in a Small Town
Now I want to snuggle under blankets with my latest read. That photo makes me grin.
What a precious picture! Thanks for sharing it!!Psst! Today's the Bernard Pivot blogfest you signed up for. Hope you're still playing along. I'll check in later, just in case :))Have a fab day!
My daughter does this too but just boldly leaves the light on until I catch her when I go to bed!
I was never able to do this. Claustrophobic. My 11 yo reads late, but he's not sneaky about it.
Laura, that's what I did too, and my mom would always yell down the hall at me as soon as she saw the light under the door crack. If I was tired, I would turn out the light go to sleep; if I wasn't, I would turn off the light for about 15 min., wait till SHE fell asleep, and then turn it back on and read some more.
Sweet picture. Sweet book too!
What a darling girl!
That looks like a great thing to do. I haven't read with a flashlight in forever.
It's nice that traditions continue ... or is that, "reinvented".
Oh, you HAVE to love that! :-)
I've read it! Great read, I'm sure she'll like it.
Cute! Always though those clip-on book lights were the coolest things ever for this very reason! However, I much prefer being curled into the corner of a couch for my reading (even if it's late night reading). :)
Sweet picture! And a great read. Wonderful combination.
I absolutely adore this picture! Reminds me of my childhood. Thanks for sharing :)
Ah yes!! I love that.
